Garatshausen is the name of the neighborhood and is actually closer to Tutzing town center than Feldafing. Located just north of the Tutzing city limit, Garatshausen is over 1265 years old. Several clear fresh springs emerge from the hill behind QCDC to provide running water for raising a few trout in a couple small ponds as well as a source of drinking water, although the local tap water is very high quality.
A forested gentle hilly terrain with streams and abundant nature is < 5 minutes walking distance to the west away from the lake and also < 5 minute walk down to the Lake Starnberg public access at the Schloss Garatshausen adjacent to a beautiful nature park for mainly local residents. A truly ideal location for a small consulting company to be located.
From Munich Airport the S-6 Bahn goes to Tutzing in about 90 minutes. From Munich the same S Bahn is 45 minutes away or one can take the RB regional train which is < 30 minutes from the Main Munich Train Station to Tutzing.
A taxi from Tutzing Train Station is 5 minutes to QCDC.
Only a 2 minute walk to the lake or forest, Lake Starnberg is a deep clear clean mountain lake
The Snow capped Bavarian Mountains are within view of the lakeside Castle Park on Lake Starnberg, 2 minutes walk away.
In the summer months, the Bazi (19 ‘ Elan Sailboat) is bouyed close by for special trips (owned by QCDC).
